I have watched organizations announce ambitious sustainability goals — net zero targets, ESG commitments, social impact strategies. The language was compelling. The intent seemed genuine. But after the announcements, very little changed operationally.
As a Business Analyst and Product Strategist trained to see systems, processes, and gaps, I kept identifying the same issue: ESG was living in strategy decks and annual reports — not in requirements documents, product roadmaps, or operational KPIs.
